CARE
Church Assistance for Resilience and Empowerment

The CARE Team is a regional ministry designed to provide emotional support, practical resources, and educational opportunities to clergy and congregational leaders, helping them manage compassion fatigue and maintain a fulfilling personal life. Compassion fatigue - the emotional toll of constantly witnessing and addressing the suffering of others – can impact the mental and physical health of those called to care and drastically shorten lives and careers. Our purpose is to come alongside clergy and congregational leaders, helping them navigate these challenges so they can enjoy a personally fulfilling life while continuing to thrive in the mission to which they have been called.

CARE team members are available for consultation and workshops in the following areas:

  • Navigating Stress and Trauma
  • Building Resilience
  • Preparing for Personal and Community Trauma: Checklists for Tangible Action
  • Phases of Community Trauma: Preparation and Recovery
  • Psychological First Aid: how to effectively care for those suffering the acute stages of trauma.
  • Building Resilience in Families
  • Intergenerational Racial Trauma

Contact me today to learn more about how the CARE Team can support you and/or your ministry team.
