- Through the Region, ministers are properly credentialed and trained in serving the needs of local congregations.
- Local churches are assisted in the process of calling a new minister and the transitional period of time between ministers.

- Disaster response and aid comes through the Region, working closely with Church World Service and Week of Compassion.
- The Region oversees all the staff as well as the budget.
- The Region welcomes and supports new church start ups, fulfilling our mission to witness and make disciples.
- The Region enjoys a rich connection with annual fellowship of local churches and connection of the local church with the broader network of other churches and the General Church in Indianapolis.
- The Region maintains and nurtures our covenant relationship with the Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) in our area and the Piedmont District Convention.
All of this important work, and more, requires staffing, volunteers, resources and your financial contribution.
How can I help?
After prayerful consideration, here are some options for you:
- Become a sustainer donor. Choose an amount that is comfortable for you and pledge to give that amount each month. Having a monthly pledge is very helpful to the Region in planning and executing its programs and ministries.
- Ask your church to put a special line item in its annual budget for the Region.
- Consider adding the Region of North Carolina as a beneficiary in your Will, or make a gift to the Legacy Fund. (link) A legacy gift is always a great way to sustain the Region's ministries into the future.
- Make a contribution whenever you can.
